At the tail end of the 1970s, when Leo Fender decided to begin building guitars again, he was determined to improve on his original design for the Strat and Tele. The result is the G&L Legacy and the ASAT. In addition, Leo came up with new models like the Commanche, the S500 and the Fallout as well as the L2000 and L2500 basses which have become some of the best of their kind on the market today. In interviews Leo would say that he did his best work at G&L. We agree.
G&L also offers the Tribute line of guitars. Based on the U.S. design, the Tribute is an affordable way to get a G&L guitar in your hands. We feel this is an excellent value and is comparable to much higher priced instruments.
