CD Woodbury has been performing professionally for over twenty-five years, playing Blues, Rock, Jazz, Rockabilly, and more. Both fronting his own blues bands or as a sideman, he has won eight awards from the Washington Blues Society including "Blues Performer" and three times for "Electric Guitar", and has received international radio airplay with the CD Woodbury Band album "Monday Night". He has studied music with legendary performers as diverse as Andrew Hill and Earl Slick and opened for dozens of artists as wide ranging as Elvin Bishop and Allen Stone. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in music at Portland State University. CD tailors lessons to fit the need of the students from beginner to advanced and loves teaching concepts and theory to build your own style as an improviser and accompanist.
